This song was popular when i was still in grade school. Back then whenever my uncles would play basketball in our backyard they would have ample supply of balut cooked by my tita. As my uncles tried to imitate jaworski,magic johnson,michael jordan, there they were, eggs freshly cooked and still steaming hot at the sidelines.
Back then energy drinks are not yet in market so the ever reliable balut was their energy drink and food at the same time.
Still true today, no matter how many litters of energy drink and power bar you take, still the most potent are those eggs sold hot on the corner with salt and or vinegar.
